The home decorating market has sure changed a lot from 20 years ago. The consumer of today has a very large selection of home decor items to choose from, that were never before available to them. Decorating your home can now have a very professional look for a reasonable cost plus be entirely accomplished by any do it yourselfer who wishes to tackle the job. We also have the Internet to explain the process of almost any home decorating idea that we want to try for ourselves. If you have a fountain I suggest putting a small amount of bleach in the water to keep it clean, bleach in small amounts is not harmful to pets. you can also color your water for added appeal. The next wall fountain is a little more modern in style, but pretty much operates the same, Right now I am currently out of this pineapple wall fountain but should be receiving it around the 21st of December. I wouldn't expect it in time for Christmas. The pineapple fountain stands 27 1/2 inches tall and has three tiers. It takes less space than the traditional wall fountain and has a wonderful appeal all its own. Water pours out of the top tier being a pineapple,the symbol of welcome and hospitality in Colonial America that's still recognized today! the water gently cascades down the lower two tiers adorned with gracefully scalloped edges.

Have you ever been to a home that has a fountain in the entryway or foyer? They are a beautiful feature to add to your home and not near as much trouble as you think. In my experience it is best to use distilled water or treat it with chemicals ,to keep the water fresh and clean.

You don't have to be rich today to have such a feature in your home. They are reasonably priced and very easy to maintain. Picture an area in your home overflowing with lush plants and a stone platform holding a bubbling fountain wih a few up lights focussed on the plants and fountain. A simple way to make a beautiful area would be to place decorative pavers in the area to be used there are several types to choose from 18" square would be ideal, You can protect your flooring by laying them on rubber shelf liner or something of that nature first, making a platform for your fountain. Make sure there is an electrical outlet near your chosen area. Place your fountain in the corner on the stones, Put a few trees and potted plants around it, They can be real or fake it does not matter but real ones are so much nicer, or you can use both. Add a few up lights highlighting the fountain and you have an instant conversation piece. For an added feature if you are the handy type you can add mirror tiles to the corner walls for a beautiful effect. and maybe stones around the edges of the pavers. Let your imagination be your guide or scour the internet for ideas.

I thought the first posts I will be making will include my favorite Christmas and winter decorations that We carry, Christmas is creeping up on us and starting next month it will fly instead of creep. So lets get a head start on it. Shall we? These are just too cute!

Wouldn't these stepping stones make a great pathway through your yard? I was thinking of making a path through my garden all the way to my porch with these and candy canes all along each side with garland and /or lights attached to the candy canes wouldn't that be pretty? I

will probably need 3 sets of the stepping stones. I'll need to find more candy canes too,but I think that's where I'll start my decorating this year. These are nice quality items.
